Carrie Scott-Huby is an innovative producer of Fine Art paintings and textiles. Trained in Fine Art Textiles her work crosses the art/craft divide.

Each piece of work evolves from an initial inspiration taken from a place that she has visited which remains special to her, whether a rural or urban environment. Carrie allows intuition and rhythm of feeling to flow into her work; enthusiasm and passion for rich textures, shape and colour fuse into textured surfaces, whilst a strong belief in reconstituting and recycling objects of beauty translate into delicate compositions.

Seeing, feeling and experiencing the world which surrounds her is fundamental to Carrie’s work and the work creates an emotional response, allowing the viewer to connect it to their own experience.
