Manasamitra is an artist led organisation whose objective is to promote traditional Asian music and dance. Manasamitra hopes to open windows of opportunity and encourage young talent and upcoming artists. Led by Supriya Nagarajan, Manasamitra runs a range of activities for schools and businesses, as well as community workshops and performances.

The range of activities offered by Manasamitra includes:

In Schools: Storytelling workshops; religious education as part of the national curriculum; arts based teaching of mathematics, geography, history etc; painting and craft workshops; Indian dance, music and dance-drama workshops.

In the Community: Performances of Asian music and dance; training classes in Asian music, dance and crafts; performance competitions; multi-cultural festivals; lectures and seminars on performing arts and culture.

In Businesses: Arts based workshops for small/medium businesses that focus on team-building, motivation and individual development.
